IRVINE, Calif., March 28, 2024 — The Specialty Vehicle Institute of America’s Board of Trustees elected Marc-André Deschênes of BRP Inc., as Chair of the Board. Ryan Stiver of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., will continue as Vice Chair, and Landon Ball of Textron Specialized Vehicles will continue in the role of Secretary/Treasurer.

“We’ll continue to offer free rider training to ATV riders and ensure riders have access to safe vehicles for generations to come,” Deschênes said.

The other Trustees on the board, include Russ Brennan of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A.; Michael Mitchell of Polaris Inc.; and Chase Rastegar of Suzuki Motor USA, LLC. American Honda Motor Co., Inc. will appoint a representative in the coming weeks. SVIA member companies also include CFMOTO Powersports, Inc., and newcomer Champion Motorsports Group, LLC.
