The ATV Safety Institute works with state, military, and independent agencies to present seminars, develop safety materials, and coordinate training programs targeted to fill specific needs.

ASI is committed to increasing public awareness of ATV safety programs. It produces and distributes public services messages to ATV enthusiast magazines and other publications read by potential ATV riders. There are also several publications available to promote safe riding practices. These include Tips and Practice Guide for the All-Terrain Vehicle Rider and Parents, Youngsters and All-Terrain Vehicles.

Ride Safe, Ride Smart: For All ATV Riders

This seven-minute video demonstrates the importance of getting a proper start in ATV riding, whether you ride ATVs for recreation or for business. The family profiled in the video understands that while ATVs are fun, the activity needs to be approached with a safety-first attitude, and they follow the ATV Safety Institute’s Golden Rules to help them get the most out of every ATV adventure. Ride Safe, Ride Smart: For Young ATV Riders

ATV riding is a great way for families to enjoy the great outdoors. Many families purchase ATVs for their children under the age of 16, and this video is made for those young riders. The host presents special considerations the young riders and their parents need to be aware of to help ensure the youngsters’ safety when riding. Matching the vehicle to the age of the child and supervising them during EVERY ride are key components of safe riding.
